This week we have continued our All About Me topic. We have also focused on the book of the week: Zog and also Zog and the flying doctors by Julia Donaldson and we have:

• enjoyed playing with doctors kits in our role play area
• made a giant zog collage
• enjoyed playing with coloured ric on our dragon tuff tray
• played with knights and princesses on our small world table
• did a lot of mark making activities and emerging writing
• enjoyed speech and language activities
• built castles with giant construction
• looked at 2d shapes and the properties of shapes
• sang songs and nursery rhymes
• played circle games
• enjoyed dancing with music and movement
• lots of free art at the craft area
• independent reading
• listening games
• puzzles and games
• looked at the signs of Autumn

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing. Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.
