This week we have continued our All About Me topic talking about our favourite things.
We have also focused on the book of the week: Handas Surprise and

• created healthy meals on our healthy eating tuff tray
• talked about our favourite animals and drew pictures of them
• we extended the story of the week by also reading Handas Hen *matched numerals 1-5
• matched shapes
• categorised model animals by size
• made cellophane window shapes
• did a lot of chalking outside on the big chalk boards
• discussed healthy eating and sorted real food into healthy and unhealthy categories
• sorted animals into where they live *painted with fruit
• had lots of fun outside in the sandpit
• as always there has been a lot of fun at the creative table with the children choosing from the resources available
  
  

As usual the weekly blog represents a snapshot of what most of the children participate in during the week. Please speak to your child's key person if you would like to have further information about your child's interests and progress. You are welcome to ask your key person for feedback at any time and book a time to have a meeting for feedback on how your child is progressing. Hoping you all have a lovely weekend.
