Click to downloadLatest advice, posted 13th March

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus we are asking all parents and children to wash their hands on entry (adults can use the available antibacterial gel). In addition please could you inform us if you or anyone you know has visited the category one or two countries in the last 14 days, please go the following website for information.

Please note that if a child is showing flu like symptoms such as a temperature, difficulty with breathing or a streaming nose we will be asking you to seek advice before your child returns to playgroup. If a child is at playgroup and showing any of these symptoms we will contact you and ask you to come and collect them. We will be doing lots of supervised handwashing and cleaning as usual to keep you children, and the staff team, as germ free as possible.

There is now a helpline available if you have any questions. Please call: 0800 046 8687 or email at: DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk (opening hours: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday).

Many thanks the Playgroup Team.
